College Application Process

Follow these steps for the paper/electronic trail!  You  need back ups because college admission's office is very busy.  You need to make sure we meet all deadlines

.APPLICATION PROCESS

·       Colleges are receiving a lot of information from several students so it is important for you to keep up with information you send:

1.    Keep a folder on each college

2.     Write your username and password

3.    Print off the confirmation page for application being submitted-Go by guidance office or on-line and request a transcript.

• ·     Check to make sure you do not have to do a separate scholarship application or does your admissions one count for scholarships
• ·     All of your applications need to be completed by Nov. 1
• ·     Be sure to have someone look over your application before submitting.  This is the first impression the school is getting from you
• ·     If you do a paper application-be sure to write neatly and in blue or black ink
• ·     Most colleges are rolling admissions and will let you know within a couple of weeks of receiving all required documents
• ·     Other selective colleges will finalize their admission’s decisions in the spring.

     Remember you have until MAY 1 for your final decision. Don't rush it.
